I'm really hoping there's a rogue update to an application or something that broke the drivers but I'm just hoping maybe somebody has had this issue before and can point us in the right direction before we end up buying over $20,000 in new sensors. I'm fully expecting the issue to lie with the sensors themselves, but I find it hard to believe that the two sensors went out at exactly the same time.

The only pattern I've noticed is that when you plug in sensor 3 (the one that works well), sensor 2 begins to work. Like any good IT guy, I googled that error and attempted to A) Reinstall drivers B) Disable fast boot C) Change USB suspend settings in power options. The ones that don't work give a 'Device Descriptor Request Failed' error in device manager. The other two, however, seem to work on and off at random times and this issue first started a week ago with the first two devices. One of these sensors, sensor 3, works fine. We do IT consulting for a local dentist and he has 3 Gendex GXS-700 intraoral x-ray sensors (labeled 1, 2, and 3) that connect via USB.
